- Today: Cybersecurity and secure architecture. Our goal: Threat-model and defend a system.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- Model with STRIDE, rank with likelihood × impact. Least privilege, defence in depth, secure defaults, fail closed. Encrypt in transit and at rest, never roll your own crypto, and assume breach — detection and recovery time matter more than perimeter purity.
- Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
- Your turn: Threat-model one application you maintain.
- Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
