- Today: Ohm's law and series circuits. Our goal: Calculate current, voltage and resistance.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- Voltage is the push, current is the flow, resistance is the squeeze. V = I × R ties them together. In a series loop the current is identical everywhere and the voltages share out across components. In parallel the voltage is identical across each branch and the currents add. Power is P = V × I — that is why a kettle element is low resistance and a fuse is chosen by current, not by guesswork.
- Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
- Your turn: Build a series circuit with two bulbs, measure the voltage across each, and check the sum.
- Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
