Full teaching script
- Today: Staying safe online. Our goal: Know what to share and what to keep private online.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- Keep private information private: your full name, address, school, passwords and photos of you. People online are not always who they say. If anything online upsets you or asks for secrets, stop and tell a trusted adult. In the UK, you can also contact Childline on 0800 1111.
- Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
- Your turn: Make a poster of 'Share' and 'Keep private' information.
- Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
