- Today: Food chains. Our goal: Build a simple food chain.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- A food chain shows who eats what. It starts with a producer, a plant that makes its own food using sunlight. Then come consumers: grass → rabbit → fox. Arrows point the way the energy goes.
- Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
- Your turn: Draw a food chain from a garden or a pond.
- Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
