- Today: Rhythm patterns. Our goal: Clap and copy a short rhythm.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- Rhythm is the pattern of long and short sounds. Say 'ap-ple' for two quick claps and 'pear' for one long clap. Putting words together makes patterns, like apple, apple, pear.
- Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
- Your turn: Make up a four-word fruit rhythm and teach it to someone.
- Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
