- Today: Loops and repetition. Our goal: Use a loop to repeat instructions.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- Rather than writing the same instruction ten times, a loop says 'repeat this ten times'. It makes programs shorter and easier to fix. A count loop repeats a set number of times; a condition loop repeats until something becomes true.
- Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
- Your turn: Write a loop in words that draws a square using 'forward' and 'turn'.
- Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
