- Today: Algorithms and debugging. Our goal: Write and fix a step-by-step algorithm.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- An algorithm is a precise list of steps. Computers do exactly what you say, not what you mean — so when it goes wrong, you read your steps back one at a time and find the first that lies. That's debugging.
- Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
- Your turn: Write the algorithm for making toast, then find the step a robot would get wrong.
- Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
