- Today: Materials and their uses. Our goal: Say why an object is made from a certain material.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- We pick materials for their properties. Glass is see-through so windows are glass. Wool is warm so jumpers are wool. Metal is strong so bridges use it.
- Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
- Your turn: Find three objects and say why their material suits the job.
- Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
