Full teaching script
- Today: Crossing the road. Our goal: Use Stop, Look, Listen, Think.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- Stop at the kerb. Look all around for traffic. Listen for cars. Think: is it safe? Always hold a grown-up's hand and cross at a crossing if you can.
- Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
- Your turn: Practise Stop, Look, Listen, Think with a grown-up on a quiet pavement.
- Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
