- Today: My calm toolbox. Our goal: Choose three things that help you calm down.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- Different things help different people. Some like a quiet corner, a hug, squeezing a cushion, drawing, music or a walk. Having a toolbox of ideas means you know what to try when big feelings come.
- Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
- Your turn: Draw a toolbox and put three calming ideas inside it.
- Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
