Full teaching script
- Today: Belly breathing. Our goal: Use slow breathing to feel calmer.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- When we are worried, our breathing gets fast. Slow breathing tells the body it is safe. Put a soft toy on your tummy. Breathe in through your nose for four counts and watch it rise. Breathe out slowly for four counts and watch it fall.
- Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
- Your turn: Do five slow belly breaths with a toy on your tummy.
- Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
