- Today: Eat a rainbow. Our goal: Explain why we eat different coloured fruit and vegetables.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- Fruit and vegetables of different colours give us different vitamins and fibre. Try to eat lots of colours over the week: red tomatoes, orange carrots, green peas, purple grapes.
- Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
- Your turn: Make a rainbow fruit plate with a grown-up.
- Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
