Full teaching script
- Today: Drawing what I see. Our goal: Look closely and draw from life.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- Artists look far more than they draw. Half-close your eyes and find the big shape first, then the lines inside it. Draw lightly — light lines can be changed, hard lines cannot.
- Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
- Your turn: Draw one shoe by looking at it, not from memory.
- Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
