- Today: Movement, rest and body signals. Our goal: Plan gentle activity and rest while respecting different bodies.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- Movement can be walking, stretching, wheeling, dancing or seated activity. Bodies differ, so copying another person’s range or speed is not a fair goal. Start gently and notice breathing and comfort. You should be able to stop and communicate. Pain, dizziness or unexpected breathlessness mean stop and tell a trusted adult; seek medical advice when needed. Rest, drinking water and comfortable surroundings support activity. A person using a mobility aid is not less capable of learning. Model an easy seated hand stretch or slow shoulder movement within a comfortable range; do not force any joint. Follow individual medical guidance over a general lesson.
- Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
- Your turn: Choose a comfortable movement or observation role. Agree a stop signal. Try a brief gentle activity, pause and describe how you feel. Create a rest-and-movement plan without comparing performance.
- Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
