- Today: Referencing and academic integrity. Our goal: Cite correctly in Harvard, APA and OSCOLA.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- Harvard and APA cite author-date in text with a reference list; OSCOLA (law) uses footnotes. Cite whenever an idea, figure or phrasing is not your own, including paraphrase. Plagiarism includes self-plagiarism and unattributed AI output; contract cheating is an academic offence.
- Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
- Your turn: Reference one book, one journal article and one website in two styles.
- Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
