- Today: How a degree actually works. Our goal: Navigate credits, modules and assessment.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- A UK bachelor's is 360 credits — 120 a year, each 10-credit module about 100 hours of total study. Level 4 is foundations, Level 5 application, Level 6 independence and dissertation. Classification usually weights Levels 5 and 6, so first year is for learning how to learn.
- Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
- Your turn: Map your intended modules across three levels and 360 credits.
- Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
