Full teaching script
- Today: Day and night. Our goal: Say why we have day and night.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- The Earth is always spinning, like a slow spinning top. When our side faces the Sun it is day. When our side turns away from the Sun it is night, and we can see the Moon and stars.
- Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
- Your turn: Shine a torch on a ball in a dark room and turn the ball slowly. Watch day and night move.
- Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
