Full teaching script
  1. Today: Naming my feelings. Our goal: Say the name of a feeling and show it on your face.
  2. Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
  3. Feelings are messages from our body. Happy, sad, cross, scared and calm are all feelings, and every feeling is allowed. When we can name a feeling, it gets a little smaller and easier to handle.
  4. Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
  5. Your turn: Make a happy face, a sad face and a calm face in a mirror. Name each one.
  6. Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
