  1. Today: Mixing colours. Our goal: Make new colours from red, yellow and blue.
  2. Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
  3. In a traditional paint-mixing model, red, yellow and blue are taught as primary colours. Mixing can produce orange, green and purple, though results depend on pigments. Other colour models use different primaries.
  4. Together: choose one example from the explanation and show how it works. What do you notice?
  5. Your turn: Mix paints or crayons to make orange, green and purple.
  6. Reflect: what made sense, and what would you like explained differently?
