Full teaching script
- Today: Rights at work. Our goal: Know core UK employment rights.
- Take one idea at a time. Pause after each sentence; ask for repetition whenever you need it.
- You are entitled to a written statement of terms, at least the National Minimum or Living Wage, paid holiday (5.6 weeks pro rata), rest breaks, protection from discrimination under the Equality Act 2010, and protection from unfair dismissal after two years. Whistleblowing and health-and-safety complaints are protected from day one.
