Connect an AI assistant

Let ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant use Skye-Net's tools for you.

Your server address

Connect

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT Apps settings and turn on Developer mode (read the risk notice). If it isn't there, ask your ChatGPT admin.
  2. Open the New plugin dialog.
  3. Type the name Guardian Protocol and paste the server address above.
  4. Check "I understand and want to continue" — ChatGPT shows this for every custom server — then click Create.
  5. Turn the app on from the chat box, then ask ChatGPT to use it.

Claude

  1. Open Claude's add connector page — the name and address are filled in for you.
  2. Check the details and click Add.
  3. If the form doesn't open, go to Claude's Connectors page, choose "Add custom connector", name it and paste the address.
  4. Turn the connector on from the chat box, then ask Claude to use it.

Claude Code

Run this in a terminal:

  1. Start Claude Code and type /mcp to check it's connected (sign in there if asked).
  2. Ask Claude Code to use the app.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Add a remote MCP server.
  3. Name it and paste the server address.
  4. Finish any sign-in prompts.
  5. Turn it on, then ask the assistant to use the app.

Refresh after Skye-Net updates

Assistants remember the old tool list, so refresh after changes.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select this app.
  2. Scroll to Information and click Refresh.
  3. If the address changed, delete the app and connect again with the new address.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use the app.

Claude

  1. Open Connectors and select this connector.
  2. Refresh or update its tools.
  3. If the address changed, remove it and connect again with the new address.
  4. Ask Claude to use the app.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it loads the latest tools.
  2. If the address changed, run claude mcp remove guardian-protocol, then the install command again.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use the app.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP settings.
  2. Select this app's connection.
  3. Refresh the tools or reconnect.
  4. If the address changed, paste the new one.
  5. Start a new chat and ask the assistant to use the app.
